A sight that the Swanage Railway staff and supporters have had hoped for many years, BR Class 33 No. D6515 "Lt Jenny Lewis RN" powers the inaugural service from Swanage to Wareham away from Worgret Junction on June 13th 2017. On the rear of the train, hidden behind the exhaust and still partly on the Swanage Branch is WCRC Class 37 No. 37518. Although the train had joined Network Rail metals at Frome Bridge, on the branch, this was the first time a scheduled train had joined the main line.
