Avonside 0-4-0T MARCHLYN started life in 1936 with Durham County Water Board on the construction of Burnhope Reservoir and was subsequently purchased by Penrhyn Quarries in North Wales and was retired from their in 1965 and spent the next 45 years in a private collection in the USA. It was repatriated to the UK in 2011. Here it heads for Statfold at Oak Tree Halt on 10th June 2017
