Probably the star guest at the recent Severn Valley Railway spring diesel gala was brand new DRS Class 88 No. 88003 Genesis seen here approaching Bewdley on 19th May 2017 with the 14.35 from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. These series of trains on the SVR were the first trains the loco had ever hauled as it had never worked on the mainline before the gala and was dragged to Kidderminster by another DRS loco.
