To mark the official launch of the DRS class 88 locomotives, a special train was run from London Euston to Carlisle and back using one of the new locomotives. Seen at Carlisle prior to its' return to London, DRS Class 88 No. 88002 'Prometheus' stands with the Carlisle-London Euston special on 9th May 2017. DRS Class 68 No. 68022 'Resolution' was on the rear of the train.
