Ex LNER class A3 No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman' accelerates past Copmanthorpe on 29th April 2017, following a signal check at Colton North Junction, heading the Railway Touring Company 'The Great Britain'. This was the first leg on day 1 of the tour from King's Cross to York, where the A3 was due to hand over to A4 Pacific 'Union of South Africa'. In the event, the York to Edinburgh leg was diesel hauled.
