Class 85 No. 85015 arrives in Platform 5 at Crewe Station on 28th March 1989 unusually at the head of a rake of Inter City-liveried Mark 3 coaches bound for London Euston. Built by BR at Doncaster Works she entered service as AL5 No. E3070 during July 1962 being withdrawn in September 1990 the year after this image was taken. Scrapping was completed by MC Metals, Glasgow during September 1992.
