Class 40 No. 40145 is seen at Carlisle on 27th August 2004 with Pathfinder Tours charter "The Northern Lights". No. 40145 was to take this tour from Preston to Inverness and then Kyle of Lochalsh, but it failed at Carlisle with turbocharger problems and so was substituted by a Class 66 and then Class 37/4s.
