On 2nd April 2017, the third and last day of the Swanage Railway 'Strictly Bulleid' Spring Steam Gala, all trains carried a variety of headboards. West Country Class Pacific No. 34046 'Braunton' (running as No. 34052 'Lord Dowding') powers towards Creech Bottom Crossing, with the 14:20 from River Frome to Swanage.
