Due to engineering works at Carstairs some WCML freight services were diverted over the Glasgow & South Western line via Kilmarnock. On the 1st April 2017 DBS Class 66 No. 66186 approaches Barassie with the Grangemouth-Daventry, which ran to Falkland Yard, Ayr before running around it's train and proceeding towards Carlisle via Kilmarnock.
