LMS Stanier Black 5 4-6-0 No. 44984 is seen at East Leake Station on 20th August 1966 on a semi-fast Nottingham Victoria to London Marylebone service. No. 44984 hauled the last service out of Marylebone along the Great Central lines just a couple of weeks later, and was withdrawn from Colwick Depot in November 1966. East Leake is now on the GCR (Nottingham) preserved line from Ruddington to North of Loughborough.
