A scene now radically altered following electrification, Class 47 No. 47585 County of Cambridgeshire arrives at Ipswich on 3rd 1st October 1981 with a Norwich - Liverpool Street working. No. 47585 continued in service until May 1993 and was scrappped in February 1996.
