The Fifty Alliance Class 50s Nos. 50049 and 50031 await the road at Stafford with a return Steamy Affairs charter The Irish Mail on 9th April 2005. The charter had ran from Ashford to Holyhead using LMS 8P 'Coronation' Class Pacific Pacific No. 6233 'Duchess of Sutherland' from Crewe for a run along the north Wales coast.
