Living on borrowed time and currently based at Knottingley wagon repair depot, this is the last operational DB Class 09 (it was put up for sale, along with the rest of the shunter fleet in Oct) which spends most days at Knottingley, but a few times a week it makes the mainline 10 mile round trip to Milford Sidings to shuffle wagons. Trip working will be missed when this 55 year old veteran is retired.
