DB Cargo UK Class 67 No. 67024 passes Clay Mills, Burton-on-Trent on 3rd December 2016 with the 05:19 Newport to Newcastle "The York and Durham Noel Explorer" Pathfinder Tours excursion. No. 67024 had earlier been despatched 'light engine' to Fenny Compton in order to replace classmate No. 67006 "Royal Sovereign" that had being experiencing problems. On taking over the special train the delay had caused its running well in excess of two hours behind schedule, therefore a decision was taken to terminate the excursion at York.
