Several Mark 1 and Mark 2 coaches and examples of Class 101, 108, 121 and 126 DMU are seen undergoing overhaul in this view across the traverser taken inside BREL Glasgow Works on 3rd June 1978. The Class 121, in Bay 6, is DMBS No. 55007 which would survive until scrapping in February 1989 while the MK2F BSO in Bay 7 is No. M9537 currently stored at the Nemesis Rail Depot at Burton upon Trent.
