GWR Castle Class 4-6-0 No. 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe should have been the lead locomotive on this London Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street charter working. However, due to the castle starting lineside fires in the Aynho area on the up journey it was deemed necessary to pilot the Castle using West Coast Railways Class 47/0 No. 47245 for the return journey, pictured here climbing towards Banbury at Kings Sutton. 6th April 2013
