The original LMS unrebuilt Fowler Patriot Class 4-6-0 No. 45551, which was not named, is seen at Crewe Station on 8th July 1961. No jeans and T shirt for me in those days! No. 45551 was withdrawn in June 1962 and now well-known as the subject on a new build.
