Class 68 No. 68021 is seen as it passes over the crest of Shap Summit, Cumbria, normally this works with a Network Rail engineers load in tow, however this ran over an hour early light engine working the 14:43 Carlisle N.Y to Crewe Basford Hall S.S.M. Out of sight to left is Shap Summit Quarry and 68016 has just finished being loaded with ballast stone ready to form the 15:20 back to Carlisle on 12th October 2016.
