The Flamsbana line in Norway runs from Myrdal on the Bergen - Oslo Line to Flam at the Sognefjord, a distance of 12.5 miles with an elevation difference of 867 meters. The line is single track and consists of only one passing loop which is situated at Berekvam, 6.53 miles from Myrdal. Because the station is unmanned and lacks CTC, crossing must be performed using flags at day and torches at night that are set by train personnel. That situation is seen here at Berekvam on 15th Auguat 2016 as a service from Myrdal with NSB Class 18 Locomotives No's. 18 2254 and 18 2253 top n tailing are given the green flag to proceed into the passing loop.
