Ffestiniog Railway 0-4-0STT Linda awaits departure from Porthmadog circa 1965. The locomotive was originally built as an 0-4-0ST for The Penryhn Quarry Railway in 1893 by Hunslet (Works No. 590) before being hired to the Ffestiniog Railway in 1962. Purchase followed in 1963 when a partial rebuild was undertaken and a tender was fitted. A further rebuild took place in 1970 when Linda was converted to a 2-4-0STT.
