New territory for the Swanage Railway as it operates trains over an extra 4 miles of track for the first time during the Spring Steam Gala. GWR 2-8-0T No. 4247 from the Bodmin & Wenford Railway, approaches Furzebrook on 9th April 2016, with the 10:40 from the River Frome to Swanage. Trains were run in top and tail mode from Norden and on this service, U Class No. 31806 was at the rear.
