Former LMS 8F No. 48191 takes water at Heaton Mersey Depot, probably for the last time, on 4th May 1968. The Depot closed to steam that weekend and the locomotive was then transferred to Rose Grove Depot for the remaining weeks prior to the end of steam in August 1968. The loco was built by North British in May 1942.
