Ex-LMS Stanier 8F No. 48697 works south through Wrexham General Station with mixed freight on 21st January 1967. Allocated to Croes Newydd (6C) at the time, the loco was withdrawn from Heaton Mersey during December of the same year and scrapped in March 1968.
