There has been a lot of regeneration in Longbridge since the closure of the car plant, but the station hasn't changed. On 3rd March2016, London Midland Class 170 No. 170632 scurries through on the fast line with the 10:40 Hereford to Birmingham New Street. Class 323 No. 323206 is about to start its northbound journey over the Cross City line with the 12:02 service to Lichfield Trent Valley.
