A 4 car DMU heads towards Sheffield, past Ecclesfield on the Barnsley line around 1965. The line to the right is the former Great Central railway through Ecclesfield East. The station building can be seen to the right of the signals, further right is the scrapyard of WF Smith where a number of steam locomotives were cut up.
