SAR Class No. 19D 3339 is seen leaving Willowmore, Eastern Cape with the daily mixed train to Oudtshoorn on 16th April 1979. The locomotive is a 1948 product of the North British Locomotive Co., Glasgow and was part of the final batch of 50 such locos supplied with Vanderbilt style tenders complete with cylindrical water tanks.
