SR West Country Class Pacific No. 34028 'Eddystone' stands at Swanage awaiting overhaul in a rather run down condition with nameplates removed on 12th November 2015 almost 15 months after withdrawal. The loco has been moved to Swanage after previously being stored at Herston. It last ran in service on 17th August 2014 before being withdrawn for overhaul following expiry of boiler certificate, it is hoped to have the overhaul complete during 2017.
