SAR Class No. 12AR 2122 bearing the name of its home depot, stands between duties at Glencoe Depot, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on 10th April 1979. This locomotive was built by North British in 1929. Class mate 12AR 1542, built by Henschel in 1928, named Utrecht, stands alongside. Both locos were kept in immaculate condition and were clearly the pride of footplate staff at the time.
