The Georgetown Loops 3 foot gauge 80 ton, Three Truck Shay, West Side Lumber Company No. 9, having just returned to service after a broken valve in the No. 2 cylinder, comes off the first train of the day in Silver Plume on 25th September 2015 with a burn out axle bearing. The shed staff immediately got to work on the repair and had it serviceable again the following day.
