BNSF Class GE ES44AC No. 6014 double heads a heavy Southbound coal train, with a classmate and two others on the rear, passes classmate No. 5994, a rescue engine stabled in the siding two miles North of Palmer Lake, Colorado. At Palmer Lake the single line section starts and a Northbound empty coal train can be seen in the background, on 16th September 2015. The rescue locomotive was soon brought into action when a coupling broke on one of the wagons and the train split in two, bringing Palmer Lake rush hour traffic to a halt as the train blocked the only level crossing in the area.
