Recently refurbished Class 303 No. 303030 departs Glasgow Central with a service for Neilston via Queens Park on a sunny 11th August 1986. Built by Pressed Steel of Linwood during 1960 in a striking Caledonian Blue livery by this date she is wearing orange and black Strathclyde Transport livery. The set is still in it's original as built formation of DTS No. 75595 leading, MBS No. 61510 centre car and BDTS No. 75630 bringing up the rear and would remain so until withdrawl in December 1987 having spent her entire career operating local services around Glasgow. MC Metals of Glasgow disposed of MBS No. 61510 in April 1989 and BDTS No. 75630 in May 1990 while MBS No. 75595 was inserted into Class 303 No. 303033 and not withdrawn until 2002. Scrapping was undertaken at Immingham during February 2003 this being the only time a coach from this unit left the Glasgow area.
