One of the first batch of 'Brush type 4's' No. D1504 had lost it'd 'D' prefix in this shot taken on 15th February 1970, pictured heading a northbound ECML service at Grantham. The loco entered service on 3rd January 1963, renumbered to 47405 in February 1974. It was withdrawn on 2nd March 1986 and cut up at Crewe in December 1988.
