RDZ TEP60 Class No. 1206 stands on display at the LDZ Museum in Riga, Latvia. Built at the Kolomna factory in Russia in 1984, this diesel-electric locomotive was based at Zasulauks on the Baltic Railway before its transfer to Riga, its operating base until 1995. These locomotives were widely used on passenger trains in the Soviet Union during the 1960's, 70's and 80's, replacing steam services. Photo taken: 26th June 2015.
