The North Cornwall line was closed to passenger traffic in the 1960s but the original section to Wenfordbridge remained in use for freight until 1984. Fortunately the recreational value of old railway lines was recognised and the Camel Trail came into being. The route passed through some tight spaces and one of them can be seen here at Hellandbridge on 13th July 2015 where the line squeezed between housing before crossing the road in the small Cornish village.
