GWR 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 No. 6924 (Grantley Hall) is seen at Shrewsbury Station on 4th August 1965. Although in poor external appearance No. 6924 performed well on its journey to Wolverhampton Low Level, and sprinted away from each stop in fine manner. No. 6924 was allocated to 81F Oxford when withdrawn less that two months later at the end October 1965, but actually located at Gloucester Horton Road.
