Over the weekend 13th/14th June, the Great Central Railway held a gala to commemorate 50th anniversary of the closure of Woodford Halse shed. Various locos were renumbered or had a previous history with the shed. On 14th June 2015, BR Standard Class 9F No. 92212, owned by Locomotive Services and visiting from the Mid Hants Railway, passes Kinchley Lane operating the 12:15 service from Loughborough to Leicester North.
