The line between Modica and Gela is closed during the day between December 2014 and mid June 2015 for engineering works with buses replacing the trains. On 8th June 2015 Trenitalia locomotive, No. 445-1005, is seen here as it arrives at Vittoria with an engineering train prior to the resumption of the passenger service.
