The service on Porto's tram route line 1 was temporarily cut short on 18th April 2015 when tram 220 was struck by a car short of the line's terminus at Passeio Alegre. The service continued with trams turning back behind tram 220. After the incident was resolved (there seems no damage to the tram), the service resumed with tram 220 restarting from the terminus at Passeio Alegre.
