Considerable progress is being maintained on the new works for the Norton Bridge Flyover Scheme. On 11th April the final preformed reinforcing for the bridge beam bearing section on the west side pier of the diverted B5026 road overbridge is craned into place. Concrete is scheduled to be poured during the following week and the precast concrete beams to form the deck are scheduled to be positioned under possession on 18th April.
