Class 108 DTCL No. 54199 and DMBS No. 53604 are stabled outside their home depot, Hull Botanic Gardens, on 11th May 1986 in MetroTrain markings. Both vehicles were built at BR Derby Works in July 1958 and spent their entire working lives allocated to Eastern Region Depots. DTCL No. 54199 being eventually withdrawn during June 1987 and scrapped by Mayer Newman at Snailwell during June 1988, while DMBS No. 53604 lasted in service until May 1988 and was scrapped by Vic Berry at it's Leicester site also during June 1988.
