Having taken over the East Coast franchise the previous day, the public launch was held on 2nd March 2015 at King's Cross. Afterwards, the first Mark 4 set in full Virgin East Coast livery worked 1S13, the 11:00 London King's Cross to Edinburgh Waverley, seen here crossing Digswell Viaduct with Class 91 No. 91124 leading and DVT No. 82219 on the rear.
