Intercity Class 87 No. 87023 arrives at Stafford on 23rd November 1986 with the VSOE Pullmans on a London Euston to Morecambe special for the Lancashire evening post centenary. Class 47/4 No. 47459 replaced the Class 87 at Stafford and worked through to Morecambe.
