Weathered in the extreme, LMS Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No. 48624 looks like it has well and truly earnt its keep, as it stands at Loughborough Central on 1st February 2015. The locomotive has taken on a BR weathered black livery, the first time in preservation in this condition, for the GCR's Winter Steam Gala on 1st February 2015.
