The desolate but still atmospheric surroundings of Birmingham's iconic Snow Hill Station on 10th July 1977, a week before demolition began. The four through running tracks had been lifted but the basic architecture was still in situ. The site had been used as a public car park for the previous five years. The modern office block top left was the former Stuarts and Lloyds building, now West Midlands Police HQ.
