Class 31 No. 31297, preserved at the Great Central Railway in BR Golden Ochre livery and usually numbered D5830, is seen passing Woodthorpe on 4th September 1999 with a Loughborough Central to Leicester North service. No. 31297 was renumbered D5579 for a short period in recognition of the locomotive that originally had this special livery.
