SBB Class Re6/6 Bo-Bo-Bo No. 11634 passes Hohtenn Station some 1200ft above the Rhone Valley on the southern ramp of the Lotschberg Mainline with a northbound train of new cars on Cartics on 4th March 1994. Since the opening of the Lotschberg Base Tunnel in 2007 between Frutigen and Raron such traffic on the mountain route is a thing of the past.
