A relatively rare occurrence on Friday 12th December 2014 when East Midlands Trains provided a five-car Class 222 'Meridian' unit to operate a service from Derby to Crewe and return. The photograph shows No. 222019 approaching Stenson Junction, Derbyshire with the 12:07 Crewe to Derby service. However, the usual provision of a Class 153 unit was provided for the following Derby to Crewe service.
