Class 26 No. 26043, in 'Dutch' engineering livery, is seen stored next to Perth Station on 18th October 1993, along with Classmate No. 26040 and a snowplough. Note the warning sign on the door of No. 26043 stating 'Do not rob'. No. 26043 is preserved in working condition at the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway as D5343 in BR blue livery, and No. 26040 is privately preserved at Methil, Fife.
