Clayton Class 17 No. D8568, preserved at the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway, is seen displayed at the Gloucester Rail and Transport Carnival on 4th August 1991. The unreliable Class 17s had a short life of only around 5 years. Clayton Equipment continue as a successful company producing narrow gauge locomotives for mining and tunnelling applications.
