The National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas, Staffordshire contains a memorial to the workers of the railway industry and those that gave their lives in conflict. It is adorned with a marble Stanier 8F with many of this class of engine seeing service overseas. Pictured on 22nd October 2014.
